"Dollmaking is a multi-media construction. It really doesn't make any difference which type of dollmaker you are, or want to be. Nor does it make any difference which particular technique you choose. The main considerations when making a doll are to understand the desired effect or impression you want to make, then to be willing to play with variations of your idea and explore any directions that are suggested...........

........Always remember that there is no clock running and no graded test at the end. None of us got it right the first, second, or even the forty-second time. The goal is to have fun and feel the rewards of figuring out how to make your idea real. Experiment and enjoy!"
